The New Jersey Women’s Wellness Center offers unique services, based on the latest scientific testing offered through our office. While women’s health needs vary from patient to patient, below is a list of some of the services we offer.

Spectracell Micronutrient Evaluations

Cells are the building blocks of our entire body and all the systems that keep us active. Our team of experts takes a comprehensive look at all of our patients and cellular health is the basis for overall well-being.

Cellular Functions

Cellular health is the foundation for an overall healthy lifestyle. Though we may look healthy on the outside, that doesn’t mean our bodies are functioning optimally. At Montvale Health Associates, we work as a team to ensure our patients get healthy and stay healthy.

Sports and Exercise

The health of your cells determines how well you perform your daily activities, participate in sports and exercise, and how well your body adjusts to various hormonal and chemical changes that occur throughout the different stages in life.

pH Balance Maintenance

During a cellular health evaluation, we look at all the internal and external parts that make up the different cells in your body and work with you to maintain the right pH balance so your different systems maintain top shape for a healthier you!

BRCA Genetic Testing

At the New Jersey Women’s Wellness Center we offer genetic testing for breast, ovarian, endometrial and colon cancer.

All cancers involve changes in genes, which are called mutations. These cancers and others for which we test run in families, i.e., mutations are inherited. Most cases of breast and ovarian cancer, for example, are due to mutations that happen randomly. While only five to ten percent of cancers are inherited, the information from genetic testing can impact one’s healthcare choices.

A genetic test may give you more information about your cancer risk, so you can make medical and lifestyle choices and decisions. You may also gain information you choose to share with other family members.

When our experts recommend genetic testing, it is for the purpose of helping our patients understand the potential causes of cancer and the likelihood they may pass a genetic predisposition on to their children. We understand that genetic testing is a personal decision for each of our patients to make individually. We are available to answer any questions you may have.

Menopause Management

We take special care of our female patients to ensure their transition into menopause is as positive and comfortable as possible.

Typical Menopause Symptoms Include:

  • Night sweats
  • Hot flashes
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Low Energy

  • Mood swings
  • Low libido
  • Insomnia
  • Weight Gain

  • Painful intercourse
  • Osteoporosis
  • Vaginal itching
  • Irregular/Heavy Bleeding

Menopause is the point in time when a woman’s menstrual periods stop. Some people call the years leading up to a woman’s last period “menopause,” but that period of time is actually called perimenopause. Periods can stop for a while and then start again (perimenopause), so a woman is considered to have been through menopause only after a full year without periods.

We realize that menopause can be a challenging time for women, so we counsel our female patients individually on treatment options for improving their quality of life during this natural life transition. The treatments are varied in their indications and depend on a variety of factors. That’s why it is important to work closely with our experts to decide what’s right for you.

Treatments of Menopause Symptoms Include:

Non-Hormonal Therapy

Low-Dose Antidepressants

Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy
